A buying guide for both stores
Know the detail that matters to you.
A label such as “Very Good”, “sealed” or “first edition” is a starting point. Use the full description, photographs and included-item list to decide whether a particular listing is right for you.
Books & magazines
- Edition and printing: a first edition and a first printing are not interchangeable. Check the publication page or stated printing information.
- Individual volumes: a set may contain mixed printings. Do not assume every volume is a first printing unless the listing says so.
- Inserts and OBI: check whether an OBI band, poster, postcard or supplement is included. A cover image alone does not confirm every original insert.
- Condition: look for descriptions of yellowing, stains, writing, tears, binding wear and missing pages.
Games & hardware
- Identity: check the model, region, language, version and any stated production markings.
- Early-lot claims: a barcode, stamp or serial detail should be supported by clear photographs and the description.
- Testing: cosmetic condition is not a test result. Check what functions were tested and whether save or internal batteries were checked.
- Completeness: confirm the cartridge or console, box, manual, cables and accessories individually. Language and compatibility may differ from your home region.
Toys & character goods
- Exact item: check the model or release code, colour, version and, for prize goods, the stated prize or character.
- Contents: parts, launchers, bases and accessories are included only when stated.
- Packaging: unopened packaging can still have wear, dents or marks. “Sealed” does not automatically mean a flawless box.
- Random contents: do not assume a specific character or variant if a listing explicitly describes sealed, random contents.
Photographs and multiple quantities
Some listings are for a single identifiable item; others offer more than one unit. Check whether the photographs show the exact item or a representative example. For multiple-unit listings, packaging and minor condition details may vary within the description.
If you need a particular stamp, box condition, accessory or exact photographed unit, contact us before ordering. An available quantity is not a guarantee of identical collector details across units.
Identity, authenticity & grading
We do not sell counterfeit or bootleg items. Before dispatch, we check the item against its listing, including visible identity, stated condition and included contents. Checks depend on the item: a book’s publication details, a game’s model and markings, or a toy’s release code.
Authenticity does not establish mint condition, completeness, a first printing or working electronics. Each needs its own evidence. We only describe an item as professionally authenticated or graded when its listing identifies the service and supporting record.
If a specific stamp, printing, original insert or test result matters, ask before ordering. If an item does not match your order, contact us with the order number and photographs; we will review it under our refund policy.
Pre-orders (PSL), quantities & availability
Regular listings
Follow the handling time stated on the product page. Unless a different timeframe is given, our shipping policy says orders usually dispatch within 10 business days after payment confirmation.
Pre-orders / PSL
“PSL” means a pre-sale or pre-order. The item is not ready for immediate dispatch. It ships after its official release and arrival at our facility, subject to the timing stated for that item.
Release, dispatch and arrival are three different dates.
The release date is when the item is scheduled to become available. Dispatch follows once it has arrived and been prepared. Delivery then depends on the carrier and customs.
Release schedules can change. If no dispatch estimate is stated, or you need the item by a particular date, contact us before ordering.
Ordering more than one unit.
The quantity selector lets you choose how many units to request from a listing. Do not assume all units have identical packaging or individual collector markings; read the description and the buying guide.
Products may also be offered through our eBay stores, so availability can change. If an item becomes unavailable or its release changes, contact us about the status of your order.
Combining ready items and pre-orders.
Mixed orders generally dispatch when all items are available unless the product page or a separate agreement says otherwise. Contact us before ordering if you want an available item sent earlier.
For changes or cancellation requests, contact us promptly with the order number. Available options depend on the order’s processing status and the applicable terms; a request is not confirmed until we reply.
