Shipping & Duties
We ship authentic Japanese trading cards, books, magazines, collectibles, sealed products, toys, and figures from Japan to collectors around the world.
Most international orders are shipped under DDU / Delivered Duty Unpaid terms. However, eligible U.S. orders of USD $800 or less are handled under DDP / Delivered Duty Paid terms at checkout.
DDP / Duties Paid at Checkout
For eligible U.S. orders with a product value of USD $800 or less, import duties are prepaid at checkout. The amount may appear in the shipping line because Shopify applies this prepaid duty amount through the shipping method.
If your order is eligible for this DDP shipping method, no additional import duty payment is required upon delivery.
DDU / Duties Paid by Buyer
For countries outside the United States, and for U.S. orders over USD $800, import duties, VAT, GST, customs fees, brokerage fees, and other local charges are not included at checkout.
These charges may be collected by the carrier or local customs authority before or upon delivery.
Shipping from Japan
All products are carefully packed and shipped from Japan. We currently use Japan Post, FedEx, and DHL depending on the destination country, package condition, and available shipping service.
Tracking information will be provided by email once your order has been shipped.
For U.S. Customers
U.S. orders of USD $800 or less are handled as DDP
For eligible U.S. orders with a product value of USD $800 or less, we collect the applicable prepaid duty amount at checkout based on the order value. This amount may be displayed as part of the shipping method or shipping charge.
This allows the order to be shipped from Japan under DDP / Delivered Duty Paid terms. For these eligible orders, duties are prepaid and no additional duty payment is required upon delivery.
If your U.S. order exceeds USD $800, the order may not be eligible for the DDP shipping method. In that case, import duties, customs fees, and other charges may be collected by the carrier or U.S. customs authority.
About DDU / Delivered Duty Unpaid
DDU means that import duties, VAT, GST, customs fees, brokerage fees, and other local charges are not paid at checkout. These charges may be collected by the carrier or local customs authority when the package arrives in your country.
Except for eligible U.S. DDP orders of USD $800 or less, the buyer is responsible for all import-related charges required by the destination country.

Why does checkout show a shipping charge for some U.S. orders?
